CPU lever arm will not go down. HELP!

I am trying put a pentium g630 into this mother board

they are compatible i know it. but the lever arm will not go down without considerable force.

What should i do? please help

Be careful not to bend any pins on the motherboard.
Make sure the CPU is properly aligned.
Push the lever hard...
Sometimes you have to really use a lot of force.
