AMD Catalyst has great features to edit desktop color. Now I have an Nvidia, which isn't compatible with CCC.
I don't like messing with each gamma and contrast of Red, Blue, and Green . . which is what the Nvidia program asks. I'd like to get a lot more color out of my monitor.
Nvidia control panel has all the same options CCC has and more. There is an all option as well as being able to adjust each color separately. Windows 7 also has a monitor calibration software.
Individual colors shouldn't be adjusted unless you monitor has a weird tint to it. Every monitor is different so I can't say anything specific. The windows software is helpful for those that don't know how a monitor should look.
