First gaming build. Requesting Opinions

This is my first build and i'm trying to stay near a 1000$ budget for a simple gaming rig. I want to buy the parts today, but i need some feed back to make sure i'm making the right decisions.

I already have a CD/ DVD player, but if you know a cheep place to get a new one, that would be appreciated also.

Country: Usa

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No
