I currently have a GT430 in my computer. My system specs are as follows I5-2500K, G.Skills Ripjaws 8gb 1600mhz, 650w Corsair PSU and my case is the Rosewill Challenger. The computer is for gaming and I play a large assortment of games including Skyrim, The Witcher 2, BattleField3, and Star Wars the Old Republic. Originally I planned to get a 560ti (or 6950) in 2 months or so and then after another 2 months get a second and SLI them. But seeing some of the benchmarks from the new 7970. I was wondering if id be better off waiting for and just getting one 7950 or 7970. Im still open to all suggestions and the purchase date for anything 500$ above would be about 4 months from now while most things below would be about 2 months from now.

If you don't mind waiting and having multiple graphics cards you could wait for HD7870/7850 launch and see how they stack up performance wise (and price). If nothing else, prices on GTX 560ti might come down.

Splendid
If I had the money I would go for the 7970 but you will have to wait. If I had the money to even get two of the 560 ti's I would but that is for the now thing ya the 7970 or 7950 are looking really good. Good luck to ya
