Looking to upgrade, need some help.

I am looking to upgrade my system, the last time I did so was in late 2007. I am currently running AMD Athalon 64 X2 5600+ 2.8 dual core, 4 GB Corsair DDR2 800MHz RAM, Western Digital 250GB 7200RPM hard drive, ASUS M2N AM2 NVIDIA nForce 430 MCP ATX AMD Motherboard and running XP. My graphics card overheated and went out on me, so I am in need of a new one and a new case with more ventilation. I am trying to keep it halfway inexpensive but one of my ulterior motive is to be able to run the new Star Wars the Old Republic game If you guys could point me in the right direction and give me some good recommendations it would be greatly appreciated

budget inexpensive means something different in everyone's mind. for me that means around 200$

Yeah I have been coming to the same conclusion. I have 3 PCI slots, would a regular PCI card be able to run newer games? I am trying to avoid getting a new MB but it seems I need something with PCI 2.0

they wont be that fast you could get a mother board an i5 and a good card for under 500$
