Hello everyone,

I am wanting to establish two connections to a remote server via telnet but I need each to show up with different IP addresses. I was thinking that 1 could be done through my server assigned IP and the other through a shell account? I dont know much about networking, IP and ISP stuff. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

That would be the best way to do so. If you were accessing a local server, other methods could be used, but I assume your on a residential connection with a router, and to the internet you only have 1 IP address, no matter what configuration changes you make to your PC.

Trully the only way to have two connections come from two different IP addresses would be to employ some remote 'bounce' host, be it a shell or proxy server.
