Price my system PLZ Need to Upgrade

OK,
I was just wondering how much my pc was worth for just the tower and whats inside, or whats a good asking price if I wanted to sell it?

Intel Core i7 870
Liquid Cooled Corsair H60

16 GB Patriot High Performance Gaming RAM

I would definitely open up the case and figure out the brand of the power supply. If it were me i would be very suspicious of buying a system i didn't know the quality of the power source and would budget for a new one.

In general you can only get about half price out of a system that has been used so if you were thinking of making money off your system you won't make much, probably only around $500. You might be better off selling it as parts, often times you can get more for it that way.

+1. The I7 870 is about 2-3 years old give or take. I am guessing you would Pay or make about 700 max. but more like 500. You would make more selling it by parts. And for the community, the people that always upgrade off the "Previous" generate to save money. There is all sorts of people buying parts. Needing a great deal on something.

Thanks for the info, yeah i was kinda mad when i found out that the 1156 processors kinda of a bad choice since they moved on the better stuff right away. o well live and learn.
