Dead PSU or dead motherboard?

Last night I was installing some new parts that I had just purchased.
Here's the specs:
OCZ ZX-850 watt PSU
ASUS x58 P6T Deluxe V2
Intel i7 970 (was W3520 before upgrade)
Sapphire HD 6970 Rev. 2 (was only this GPU before upgrade)
AMD HD 6950 2GB Reference
6x2GB OCZ 1600MHz CL8 Ram

Upon starting up my computer, the moment I pushed the power button I saw sparks coming out of the back of the case. There was a burnt electronics smell also. The system still starts but doesn't post (all lights turn on, hdd's spin, all fans spin). I replaced the PSU, CPU, and GPU with the same result. Is it just the motherboard that went? I wasn't able to properly inspect the board yet, but I'm thinking that's what it needs to be.

What do you guys think? Will OCZ cover motherboard destruction, or will ASUS even except the board if it's burnt?

No way is OCZ going to cover that. Unfortunately, it sounds like your going to have to buy a new mbod. I recently had a brand new mbod from Gigabyte. Bought it from New Egg. It had a bad memory slot and would not work in quad mode. New Egg not only took it back, but they even did an advance rma and sent me the new board before I even had the old onn removed yet! I love New Egg.....
