So I've tried two different adapters now. One brand new.

They both see my wireless network. I type in security key (correct, I've done it multiple times for both) and windows says that they can't connect.

I've tried every fuking thing. It's not the network, that works. It's not the adapters. Those work. It's not the location, I'm typing on a laptop right next to the comp right now.

WTF?

I have Windows 7. Is there some kind of obscure ass problem here?

I don't understand.

Also this computer worked with Ethernet fine at college. And the wireless adapters SEE the network it has to be something windows related right?

help....

make sure you setup the wireless security while connected to the router via network cable. doing it when connected wirelessly can lead to strange results. also check if your Caps Lock is on or off.
