Just installed new intel motherboard and i3 processor but window wont load

just bought new ga-h61m-s2pv motherboard with intel core i3 processor and 8 gb memory, used my old hard drive but keeps crashing when trying to load windows xp, need advice please

I trust you're getting a Blue screen. Run the window xp setup to reload hardware drivers for the new hardware. This way you wont have to start from scratch. You will need to load the hardware disk for the MOBO after you get window up. You will also need to reload all service patches as well.
