    ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 $129.99
    Corsair Vengeance 8GB $44.99
    MSI 560 TI $229.99
    Corsair HX650 $115.99
    Fractal Define R3 $99.99
    or
    Antec Eleven Hundred $129.99
    or
    Corsair Carbide 500R $139.99
    Crucial m4 128GB $162.10
    Corsair A70 $29.99

    Total: $1,013.03~1,043.03

Everything is at newegg but the SSD is at Amazon.

Build your own for a better computer. PC manufactures like to cut corners everywhere.
  2. What is NICX?

Can you provide link to the MSI 560 IT? I put it into newegg, and it listed 7 of them. This is my first build, and am very lost.

Would this work, since it comes with 2 fans?

    What corners do manufactures cut?
  3. NCIX is this new canadian company that just started selling in the US. They have a youtube channel called NCIXcom and Linus Tech Tip that are really famous. They sell computer parts like Newegg and also fully built system

    Go with this card.

It cost a few dollar more but comes with a higher clock and a nice cooler.
You can save $15 with the model below.

You posted a link for the case. Did you want opinions on it?

Manufactures would give you a crappy PSU that could break your whole computer, a cheap motherboard, no graphics or really bad graphics card, and a really slow harddrive filled with bloatware. The cases are pretty bad also at cooling.

Thank you so much. Yes the link on the case, it already has fans so I was wondering if that was a better case?
  5. That is a nice case and good for LAN party since it has handles and it looks nice with the 3 LED.

If you want a sleeker case. The Fractal Core 3000 looks great and comes with 3 fans.

Either case is good. Just pick one that you like more.

This is a solid setup for you. SSD for pure O/S install and/or Essential programs/games that you wish to play.
1.5TB hard drive to hold any other excess programs/games that you play now or future tense.
The GTX 560 will hold you over for all games. Later down the road can go SLI or just O/C the the card for better Performance.
16gig ram for that extra memory space
i5 quad core easily overclock-able too

    Final Price Including Shipping: $1157.00

    If you go price shopping you can easily build this rig at or under 1000. Some of these parts are cheaper on other sites aka Amazon, Ebay etc;
  7. So I've combined the two and came up with this:

    http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=14025769

But I don't know the better motherboard or power supply.

Because I combined two list, is everything still compatible?

I plan to order by Friday, wish me luck.
  8. Is ssd required? Or is it something I can add in like a month?

I found three SSDs which all look the same except price and model number, can someone tell me the difference?

    Model: CT128M4SSD2

    Model: CT128M4SSD2CCA

    Model: CT128M4SSD2BAA

    Thank you!
  9. The difference is usually what the include in the box. Some include a 3.5" mounting brackets and some includes a HDD clone tool.
  10. Do I need SSD now, or can I wait?
  11. well SSD does not gives you extra fps.it reduces loading times.add one when you have more bucks.
  12. Thanks guys, I will be placing my order Friday and will post ya when it's built.
