Hi, first of all i'm like a technology retard

I recently bought Swtor and unfortunately it is almost unplayable on the lowest settings possible. I tried everything i could and i dont know what to do. After reading many forums and checking my specs of my desktop....i'm assuming its the graphics card and ram or w.e
After checking Dxdiag, i see that i have:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz (2CPUs), ~ 2.93GHz

Memory: 3072MB RAM

Directx Version: Directx 11

(on display tab of Dxdiag)

(Device) Name: Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset

Chip Type: Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family

I cant really afford to pay a lot of money so what do i need to upgrade just so i can play Swtor on low/medium settings.
And, how would i upgrade it. Swtor Requirements say the graphics card recommended is Intel 4100 Graphics but i dunno wtf that is or what to do.

More about : play swtor dont graphics card

If you can afford around $100, then the best option is a Radeon HD 6770 (rebadged HD 5770).

See following review:

While not part of the benchmarks, if you want to spend less than $100, then consider the HD 6670 for $59 after rebate. It will be faster than the benchmarked HD 5570, but slower than the HD 5770.

The HD 6670 needs a decent 300w power supply (PSU), while the HD 6770 needs at least a decent 350w PSU. If you have a Dell or HP with at least one of the those mentioned PSU ratings, then you should be fine.

If you have a 250w PSU, then the HD 5570 would be your best option.

What you can do for starters is to give us a budget amount to work with and tell us what watts is your power supply.
