GPU XFX Radeon HD 6870 2GB
Case Cooler Master Storm Scout ATX Mid Tower
PSU XFX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V
OD LG GH22NS90B DVD/CD Writer
Monitor Asus VW246H 24.0"

All this for USD1043.

Please comment on the build. Problems i might encounter?

You might want to add an SSD, You will be surprise how much speed you will get when openning a software using an SSD.

Your system will work very fine and will run all the latest applications,games and graphics intensive applications as well.

If you are going to overclock the cpu try using a liquid cooler/air cooler instead of stock coolers.
