APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: ASAP, willing to spend anywhere from $100 to $150

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Civ 5, SC2, I would like to run Crysis if possible

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: On board GPU, PSU is a brand new Antec 650W

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: Mobo is msi (ms-7309) with AMD Phenom II X2, 3.21ghz, 2.75 GB Ram

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: No preference

PARTS PREFERENCES: Whatever works

OVERCLOCKING: No

CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Any suggestions?

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Tower is old. A card I bought from newegg was defective and they wouldn't replace it because apparently the bracket is bent. It works for browsing and watching videos, but apparently the attached fan does not keep up with the GPU, and causes overheating/crashing. What should I do with the card? I bought a whole new PSU and motherboard and processor, thinking it was just incompatible with my old 939 mobo, but that turned out not to be the problem. I have spent damn near $400 on this POS and I still can't even comfortably play minecraft. Help.

Thanks in advance.

What was the card you bought in the first place? here are a few links you can look at. You also could goto Tigerdirect.com and amazon.com and shop compare. you don't have to buy them at newegg these are just for reference

If your fan is not keeping up with the GPU. You can down load MSI Afterburner and set the fan to increase when the temps on your GPU go up. Here is a link to it and it is free. You can also monitor your temps.
