So I'm looking to build a system that will not break the bank, and I want it to save energy. I was thinking for my CPU-an Athlon iix4/phenom iix4/fx-4100. Ram- from 4gb to 6gb of DDR2"cheaper". GPU-I really like the HD 7750" it powerful, doesn't need any power pins, it's a power saver. My monitor- I don't need one" Ill use my 40inch tv. Resolution- since it's a t.v gaming at 720p is fine. For PSU- a 400 watt would do fine. H Any way. Which CPU would be the best one for gaming. If you have any suggestions please tell me. Ps"don't tell me to go with intel because I don't have money for a $200us CPU.

eh don't expect too much. on a 40 inch TV. Skimping on the GPU....isnt the best idea in the world. but you should do ok on the low end. Just don't expect to max BF3 on UlTRA Everything and such. But playing older games and web browsing you should be ok. Bad Company 2 shouldnt be too bad either

So if I get the intel i3 it outperforms a AMD quad core. And if I pair it with a HD 7750 I might run bf3 on high at 720p. I know it's not a super card, but it gets the job done for its price and power usage. If so, then I can run arkham city and mass effect on max??

i3/7750 will max bf3? maybe at 360p and again, that's maybe

you can expect bf3 to run at ~40-45 fps at 1280x720/medium details/no AA with that machine

but yeah, definitely get i3 over fx

i play BF3 on high with no AA/AF and hang @ 40ish FPS with the 5770 @ 1680x1050 so the 7750 @ 720p should do you just fine.

*these numbers are multiplayer 48-64 player servers just FYI
