Looking for new graphics card

Hi, i currently have a radeon 4870 and its days are coming to an end. I am looking for a new video card that will play High settings on skyrim and AC:REV on a 1440x900 moniter ( moniter has no HDMI just DVI slot and i have a dvi cable. )

a 6850 should do it, or if you want smoother then 6870 or 6950.
But i'd wait for a week or two if i were you, the AMD 7 series will be released within next week. Even if you did not get the newest 7 series, the older series will surely enjoy a price drop.

for the 7 series, is there going to be a 7770 or 7850?

yes, but i think they will be released later. Next week is supposed to be the launch of their top model, the 7970.
