I'm updating my system (more of a new computer while recycling some older parts) and trying to determine which heat sink to purchase:

Cooler Master Hyper 212 $35
http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-RR-212E-20PK-R2/dp/B005O65JXI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331167072&sr=8-1

or

Noctua 6 Dual Heatpipe $82
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002VKVZ1A/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Budget
I prefer buying quality parts that will last a long time versus cheap and short time. But that being said I'm trying to go as 'cheap' as possible.

New Build (not purchased yet)
CPU: i5-2500K
Mobo: ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3
Case: Cooler Master HAF X Full Tower
RAM: Corsair Memory Vengeance16GB (4x4GB) DDR3

'Recycled'
GPU: 5770 Radeon
Dual HD LCD Monitor setup
PSU: Corsair HX750

Usage
I'm not a big gamer but I play Skyrim and I'm a big Photoshop user.

Overclocking
I've never done it before but I intend give it a try this time around.

Note: I built my current system 4 years ago with some help so I'm not a complete noob but I'm not an experienced builder either.
