Voltage Problem

Motherboard seems to give my CPU the wrong Voltage cause it gives it 1.43V, so I entered the BIOS and I was to surprised to see that the Minimal Voltage is 1.389V and the Maximum is 2.072, so I used AMD overdrive to underclock it to 2.6 GHZ and set the voltage to 1.125 which worked perfectly until I restarted my pc to see that the settings (voltage-speed) returned to (1.43V-3.2GHZ)
so as far as I know there are two ways to solve this problem
1-fix the BIOS problem
2-make AMD settings permanent

so Please help me

Set your settings in BIOS, I don't believe AMD overdrive sets the BIOS settings so if you set it with AMD overdrive then check in BIOS you won't get the same results. You should be doing real overclocking and underclocking through BIOS anyway.

This all sounds wonky to me. The voltage range in the bios is off.

Is there a bios update available for your motherboard?

will updating the BIOS cause any problems

Updating the BIOS has certain risks associated with it if it gets interrupted in the middle of the process, but usually it goes smoothly.

The one thing to remember, is after updating the BIOS, is to remember to go into the BIOS and set everything back to "optimized defaults." There will be a menu selection for this.

I am considering using msi live update 5 to update my BIOS
so is live update good, and how to backup up my current BIOS

Live update is fine. Just follow the instructions/prompts.

I wouldn't know how to back up your bios. Google around for it.
