Hi, I want to buy a new computer mainly for gaming. Not looking for the jaw dropping graphics and all that, just want something that can play modern games like Bf3 and Skyrim on low-high settings without lag. Say 25-40fps? Also i don't really want to have to upgrade in the next year, hoping it'll hold up playing games on atleast low settings without lag. Currently running on a Dell Inspiron 1501, which is a giant piee of *** for playing games. Anyways here are the two computers....

Custom built PC
Intel i7 2.8Ghz CPU

500GB Hard drive
1GB ATI Radeon HD 5770 Video card
Card Reader built in
USB3.0 ports

Mushkin Enhanced Silverline Stiletto 8gb Dual memory channel
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 550 Ti graphic card
MSI 870-G45 ATX crossfire X audio Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 995 black Edition Quad Core Processor 3.2 GHZ Am3 8mb
Western Digital D caviar Black 650bg 7200RPM
64mb Byffer Sata 334IN internal Hard Drive
Naga Razor MMO Gaming Mouse Molten special edition 17 button 3.5G laser USB

#2 is going to give more bang for the buck and more stuff with it. The only thing #1 has going for it over #2 is the processor, but even it is an older 1st Gen Core i7. I'd go with #2.

Increase the cost of #1 to $500 and you can get a Radeon 6790 or 6850 instead and then it will easily beat #2 in both CPU and GPU power.
