Help me select the components for ESXi

HI,

I am willing to setup a server to run about 30 VMs of XP with 1G ram each.

Please help me select the configuration.

Motherboard : INTEL S1200BTS
Processor: Core i7 2600 3.40Ghz (8MB CACHE)
Memory: 32GB

Costs: Approx $900

Motherboard : INTEL S5520HC
Processor: Xeon W3565 3.20Ghz (8MB CACHE - 4.80GT/s) X1(for now)
Memory: 32GB

Costs: Approx $1150

Please let me know what to select. I thing the second option is better because of the scalability of a second processor and Max 192GB ram.

Let me know if you have other options for me.
