Hey Guys,
I'm currently trying to put together my first self build PC. I allready selected the parts, i'm just not sure if it is a good/working selection i made.

I'ld be very thankful for some comments / recomandations for my current selection.

Approximate Purchase Date: as soon as possible

Budget Range: 500€-600€

System Usage from Most to Least Important:
mainly for 3D CAD programms, Matlab Calculations, Office stuff, movies, a little bit of Picture and Video editing and maybe some gaming from time to time (but prob not too much)

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: alternate.de

Country: Germany

Parts Preferences: the only part i'm quite sure about is the CPU: intel i3 2500k, the rest is just supposed to fit together and be up to date for a while.

Overclocking: Maybe / no idea

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Additional Comments: should be quiet and i'ld like it to be good enough for my needs for at least 3-5 years

you will need to check things such as socket type of cpu and mb, ram compatability with mb, psu connectors and what you actually need yourself but..

general recommendations:

dont go with a wd green. they are the slower drives. caviar black or spinpoint f3.

dont go with a fancy design fan. a standard design 120mm fan is best. thin-sickle shaped blades are quieter but have crap airflow.
