i know there are many threads already about crossfire and stuff but none seem to actually fit my question.

Can i crossfire my XFX 6870 Black Edition 1GB with a standard XFX 6870 1GB?

What are the potential downfalls or increase in this set up. Overall goal is to go higher than 40 FPS on BF3 LE on Eyefinity.

My specs are

Running an Eyefinity System with 3x20" Acer Monitors (5080x900)

AMD FX 6100 6-core Black Edition OC 4.18ghz

ASUS M5A99X EVO

16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz

XFX Radeon HD 6870 Black Edition OC 950mhz. 1250mhz mem. clock

900 Watt Antec High Current Gamer PSU

Antec Skelton Case

120 SSD - 1 TB HDD

Yeah, but you will have to run both at at the same clock speed. Can't run the BE one super fast and the other at stock.
