Installing a Linksys router to a desktop with comcast dsl

I have a PC with a DSL connection. I have a Lynksys router with the installation disk. I need instructions on how to set it up. I have used the router with cable. I ned to know if there are differences between cable set-up and DSL. Thanks for your help in advance.

If you have Comcast, you have cable internet service and not DSL. Just unplug the power to the cable modem, disconnect the network cable from the PC and connect to the Internet port on the Linksys, connect a network cable from any local port on the Linksys to the PC, power on the cable modem and then the Linksys.
