So I am building a machine for my CEO and having issues with BSOD.

ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z/GEN3
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB
Intel 520 Series Cherryville 240GB SSD
Windows 7 pro.

Nothing is installed other then OS and board drivers. I am currently using on board video right now.

Random times even without being in front of it I see the bluescreen but flashes so fast I cant read anything. When the OS boots up the Windows Recovery box pops up.

OS Version 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033

BCCode 50 (seems like this does change?)
BCP1: FFFFFA00072B70F0
BCP2: 000000000000000
BCP3: FFFFF80002CFBC4C

I think I got that last error on my system and it looks like it could be a problem with your SSD more than anything - try updating the firmware and see what that does.

I'll check again but that is one of the first things I did before I built it.

What RAM configuration are you using - is it 2 x 8GB or 4 x 4GB? The 2 x 8GB has problems with Sandy Bridge - I bet that is what is causing the error, maybe try updating the BIOS on your motherboard to the current version and see if that clears it.
