Hey there,

I built a new rig for christmas and installed my VTX3D 6950 graphics card on christmas day. I played it for a few days before going on holiday and it was working fine, when I got back home I wanted to play Battlefield 3 and it asked me to do a driver update, so I downloaded the latest drivers from the AMD website. BF3 was working fine until the next day I turned my pc on and tried to play BF3 again and after 1-2 minutes there was black lines running horizontally across the screen. After exiting the game they were still there, after uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and the ATI Catalyst program they are still appearing after attempting to play any games or graphically intensive programs.

The only way it goes away is if the card crashes or I reboot my pc.

My pc -

Mobo: ASRock P67 Pro3
Video card: VTX3D 6950 1gb
PSU: Antec High Current Gamer 520w 80plus
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws 8gb
Processor: Intel i5-2500k 3.30ghz

I rolled back the drivers and had no success, so I did a system restore and still the same problem persists. I tried playing Dirt3, the screen went a solid brown color, then blue and got a BSOD atimpag.sys failed or something of that nature.
