Will RC -> Retail also require clean install?

Hi, I'm just wondering if there has been information regarding whether going from the RC version of Win7 to retail version would require a clean install (like from beta to RC), or if it will be able to just "upgrade".

If it'd require a clean install, maybe I might consider using Vista for now to upgrade to retail Win 7...

Clean install... there never has been, nor will there ever be an upgrade path from Release Candidate to RTM or retail.

When the time comes, you may be able to trick the installer using the same technique being used by beta testers to permit "upgrading" from a beta version to RC1.
