I have seen prevously, sitting in a clearence bin some converters to allow 30pin RAM to be recycled into 72pin sockets.
I have rescently come into posession of large quantitys of 30pin RAM and would like to utilise this in upgrading 486's with 72pin sockets on the board.

I am looking for either a source for these sockets, as I was silly and didn't buy them up inbulk at the time. Or information on the pin layouts sufficent to construct modules.

There are few to no cheap souces for these, besides, it makes no sense to use them anymore-a card could hold 4 30-pin simms, making it 4MB in most cases. 4MB 72-pin simms cost $1 on pricewatch, cheaper than the converter card with free memory. Enter "4 and 72" in the search box. You will need to buy a reasonable quantity to make shipping worthwhile.
