Is upgrading GTX 570 to GTX 580 worth the money for now?

Is upgrading GTX 570 to GTX 580 worth the money for now? or should I wait until the new AMD Radeon 7970 is releases? From my research the 7970 going to cost $550 which is +$50 from GTX 580. And they said it performs much more powerful than the GTX 580.

Yes, worth it to wait for the 7970... Much faster than GTX 580 for just $50.

If you have a 570 then I don't think any upgrade will give you a performance boost thats worth the money. As to is the 7970 worth $50 more than a 580 then yes based on performance and power consumption easily.
