GTX 560 Ti won't fully max out BF3, though it can play at ultra without AA. It plays with 35-45 fps for me with those settings, and I have overclocked the core to 950MHz and shader to 1900 MHz.

Play at ultra with AA and AF disabled, then see the result. Because You can't max out BF3 with a 560ti. Also try updating to the latest stable drivers from nvidia (285.xx).

Thanks geekapproved! I read the OP really fast without noticing!

Are you sure you set up SLI right? As I said before, update to latest 285.xx drivers. But I thought you really can't max out BF3 still. Even with SLI.

Are they the 1GB version?

If Yes - SLI doesnt mean you have 2 x 1GB = 2GB. The cards will only use 1GB. BF3 eats past 1GB VRAM @ 1920x1080 and will cause your FPS to chop like hell.

If No - As above - Check drivers and make sure SLI is enabled properly in Nvidia Control Panel

My son had twin 560 Ti's OC'd to 1020 Mhz; he's cut it down now to 980 MHz so as to allow fans to run at lowest setting since there was no significant improvement at 1020. BF3 is the only game he's played that he can't max out all settings @ 1920 x 1200. IIRC, he can run BF3 w/ the two cards at ultra with AA and AF cut down to lowest setting or at High w/ everything on .... as I recall, he likes the latter better.

you shouldnt run out of vram. when i max everything with my 1gb 6950 i max vram at 980ish mb. thats in Grand Brazaar so maybe it would be different with more open maps.

Good, nice PSU. I think this is because of the game itself which isn't possible with your hardware when maxed out.
