HDD and Partition Magic

Could someone help me with a problem I am having with a HDD. I have a Quantum Fireball lct15 15G drive installed as primary master and an old Maxtor 82560D3 installed as primary slave. I have had Windows 98SE and Windows 2000 pro installed on the 15G drive and everything works fine with both operating systems. Due to problems playing Links 2000 under Win2000 I decided to make the system dual boot.

1 Installed Windows2000.
2 Installed Partition Magic 6 pro.
3 Resized Win2000 partition to 7G
4 Installed Boot magic
5 Installed Windows 98SE.

This works very well except for one thing. Windows 2000 sees my D drive fine, but when I boot into Windows 98 only the 7G C drive is shown. Device manager has the other drive listed but it has no drive letter allocated to it, plus the drive letter boxes are greyed out.

Does anybody have any Ideas as to what the problem is?

What file systems are you using for your partitions? If your D: is in NTFS, then Win98 won't recognize it.

Sounds like an NTFS deal. You can transfer data to the other drive with win2k, then boot 98.

All partitions are FAT32, I have also removed TweakUI and set lastdrive to Z in config.sys.

Any other ideas.
