Whats the BEST Graphic Card for $300

Last response: in Systems

in about a week AMD will release the 7870 which will be about 340-350.

Early results show the thing as having awsome power at less power consumption, worth check out. The 7850 is also releasing for like 250 but it is a good step down, still about a 15% jump over 6950 with 30% less power usage.

This is true
But the 7850 is better and cheaper and only a couple of weeks away

Is there a benchmark review out yet between the HD 7850 and the GTX 570?

If you arewilling to go to 320.. There are a couple of gtx570's selling for $335-$345, but with rebates bringing them down to $320 or so with shipping. That being said..since the $299.99 560Ti 448core's all have rebates also, and end up being 270-280 shipped, I would say the 448 core is the way to go. Not worth the extra $50 for the gtx 570.
(poster may be biased, having just purchased an MSI GTX560Ti 448 core gpu recently)

Looks like it's going to be a winner. It's real close to the GTX 570 depending on resolution. At my rez of 1080p, it is slightly above or slightly below the GTX 570 depending on the game. Hope they get the 'issues' talked about corrected by launch. And hope they keep the price as stated. Quite an improvement over the HD 6850.

^the 570 is about 330 right now and the 7850 will be 250 so it should be better, but the 7870 for 350 appears to blow the 570 away

Yeah, the HD 7870 interests me. I may go back to AMD with a couple HD 7870s... if they meet expectations after launch.

Ok now I have probably two final questions how and those are...

How will that 560Ti 448 handle BF3 Like what settings..

And if you know how much Ram do you need to handle a 512x512 Texture pack for minecraft :D

With my phenomII X4 955 @3.2Ghz, at 1600X900 resolution I can play on ultra. I dont know what the FPS are, but its quite smooth. It should do high at 1080, I saw a benchmark somewhere with it at 1920x1080 on high and I think it was in the low-mid 50's
