$1000 - $1200 gaming rig

Approximate Purchase Date:
Mid summer. I’m aware that some parts might not be available then.

Budget Range:
$1000+, I’d like to keep it under 1200, but you can’t always get what you want for the price you want.

System Usage:
Gaming, Videos, Msn, Skype, Music, Editing 1080p videos, possibly 3d modeling.

Parts Not Required:
Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers. I have a monitor, but I plan to buy a new one with a resolution of 1920x1080, or 1920x1200.

I have a general idea of what I want for some of the parts, but looking for suggestions. The parts I need some help with: Video card, and the Power supply.
