i am planning to get
i5 3570
gigabyte z77 ud3h motherboard
8gb ram
corsair tx750 watts
gtx 660ti(when it comes out) planning to do dual sli in future if required
and bye the way no overclocking

the question is, in a cabinet would a side fan be required to cool the gpu or would the front and rear fans be enough(as in 311 plus. no side fan option available)

is this case ok or should i go for

corsair 400r (http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-400r-mid-tower-cabinet/p/itmd6uvvgbshaucr?pid=CABD6UVUF6YVJZMK&ref=fb225f85-9187-4131-9e28-fa8704c57edb)
or
cm 690 II(http://www.flipkart.com/cooler-master-cm-690-ii-advanced-mid-tower-cabinet/p/itmd5xzy7f6ffnxp?pid=CABD5XZY4SC3VQ2C&ref=e10500cc-2d4d-48a8-8501-28d5e92a28d7),

what fan arrangement do u suggest, ie front and rear or front rear top or front rear side
suggestions please
thanks in advance

Considering that you are planning to SLI, the case with the best cooling wins. In this case it's the Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced. I compared all three cases, and the CM is far better at cooling than the other two cases. I suggest a minimum of three fans. One front drawing air in, one back expelling hot air, and one in the side drawing cool air in over the GPUs.

You would be much better off with the 400r.
