I have a notebook without a s video out port, which means I can't hook up to the TV. The only decent port I have is 15 pin female connector (to monitor). Is there such a connector that can make it to become s video out? Or any way that I can use my TV like a monitor (display my computer stuffs?)?

There are boxes like that available, and they're not too expensive.

From the laptop it goes into the box with a standard SVGA cable. From the box I think it'll either do s-video, composite, or coax. They'll range from about $100 to $500.

Searching google.com I found these links quite simply:

http://www.istreamtv.com/pc_to_tv.htm
http://www.bernclare.com/genie.htm

I'm sure there are tons more available... They'll differ in the ease of set-up, output/input resolutions supported, output formats (NTSC, PAL, etc..), picture quality, etc...

No worries. Here are a few links to convert from vga to tv:

More expensive, but allows for a higher resolution:

Don't have any experience with any of these. The second url seems to be the best value.

good luck,
