Not compatible. Motherboard is for AMD CPUS. You will have to swap the motherboard for an 1155 socket motherboard.

Thank you,
can you offer assistance with what 1155 socket MB to get around the same price range? ~150

I would recommned dropping to a i5 2500k (SAME in-game performance, same overclockability) and dropping that 100 bucks saved into a current generation video card. I see that you alocated $250 for a card. This move will allow you to spend $350 - that buys (in about a week) a 7870 AMD card. Approx a 30-40% imporvement in BOTH perfomance and lower power/noise over the 480 that you are looking at.

If you "Nsist on Nvidia" :D  just give it a month, and the new "kepler" cards are sure to blow you away.

And, you cant have an intel processor with an AMD motherboard ^.-

Lots of good choices at the price range. I like Gigabyte - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Also, I'd recommend going with the nvidia 560 ti or 570 instead of the 480. 600 series will be out soon as well so keep that in mind.

Thanks skaz,

Well.. its on Newegg for $90 off, only $210 so i think its a decent steal
