Hi there,
I just received my new GTX 560 TI from Newegg today. I was eager to put it in, and attempted to do so, but upon power, there was nothing on the screen. The fans did turn on, but nothing else happened. I then realized I foolishly purchased a card that requires 550W, when my PSU is a Corsair 520W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139001). So - I figured easy solution: I'll get a new PSU. Well unfortunately I worked until later than Best Buy was open (I would order online but I am entirely too impatient), so when I returned home I attempted to put my old 9800 GTX+ back in.
I am now encountering the exact same issue. I removed no extra cords, and I had the computer unplugged each time I added / removed a card. Could the fact that the minimum requirements were not met somehow have damaged my PSU? Or what could be the case? I removed the battery from my mobo to try to and reset BIOs, so we'll see what happens from there.
Any other suggestions?
