Should I RMA with newegg or the Manufacturer

I just built a new PC and screwed up. I won't bore you with the detail but I want to RMA the CPU and motherboard. Is their any differences with RMAing with newegg versus RMAing with the manufacturer of the components?

As for the CPU if you didn't purchase it that long ago from newegg I believe 30 days then RMA with them.
