Hello everyone..
I have an old PC equiped with the minimum requirements to run BattleField3 ...
I just want to play online with 1280×720 on very low setting ..
my spec :
Intel dual core E5500 2.8 GHz overlocked at 3.64 GHz on stock cooling ( but temp is ok , doesn't even reach 65!)+ 2 GB ram ddr2 + Geforce GT 440 2GB ddr3 + G31M-ES2L motherboard ..

although these are the minimum that should run the game, I still face a huge amount of lag and fps drop during online play ..
I need to know what I need to change for optimal playing on low setting ..
thanks alot

Hi Huthayfa,

Do you experience lags only during Online Gameplay? If so, then what is the speed of your Internet?

Is that the lowest resolution allowed in that game...

Multiplayer session of BF3 brings even the powerful processors to their knees. Having a dual core processor will definitely result in lags.

You are too low on requirements. Your Graphics Card is not quiet up to the mark as it has a slower GDDR3 memory.

How many FPS do you get?

How much can you spend to upgrade your PC? I am asking this because your Graphics Card is also not good enough. Upgrading both processor and Graphics Card will be worth it.

Tell your Max. budget, it will really help to determine the best deal for you.

Yes, definitely it will make a huge difference.

So, if you don't want to change your motherboard, then any of the Core 2 Quad processors will be fine for you.

Try to buy AMD HD Radeon 6850 Graphics Card because it offers the best value for money and is more powerful than Nvidia GTX 550 Ti without being much costly.
