Hey guys I am trying to find a good GPU to replace my BFG GeForce GTS 250 512MB links below for extra details.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143178

I need a graphic card that can play Fallout New Vegas and Elder Scrolls Skyrim at max graphics smoothly. As of now when I play New Vegas at max, it tends to start lagging especially when I go in caves. So any help on this would be much appreciated.

P.S. I only have one sloth for the GPU card so I can't go crossfire or SLI. Would also like the GPU to be cheap if possible :D

Computer Specs:

Windows 7 Home 64bit
8 GB of ddr3 ram
2.4ghz Intel 2 quad core

I'd say these are ya two best bets

Guru3D uses the following games in their test suite, COD-MW, Bad Company 2, Dirt 2, Far Cry 2, Metro 2033, Dawn of Discovery, Crysis Warhead. Total fps (summing fps in each game @ 1920 x 1200) for the various options in parenthesis (single card / SL or CF) are tabulated below along with their cost in dollars per frame single card - CF or SLI:

$ 240.00 6950 Frozr OC (484/759) $ 0.50 - $ 0.63
$ 215.00 560 Ti - 900 Mhz (495/862) $ 0.43 - $ 0.50

In single card configuration, it's pretty much a draw, 495 to 484 fps is insiginificant .... but if ya upgrade the MoBo at some point, the SLI / CF difference is over 100 fps.
