Any Recommendations for a Gaming Keyboard?

I think it's unwise to get an expensive keyboard, since I only play FPS, but I'm going to get one just for the looks. Besides, I heard the mechanical keyboards are very nice; you do not need to use as much force to press the keys. Any recommendations? I'm looking at the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823114012&Tpk=RZ03-00380100-R3U1. Thanks for you advice in advance.

    I personally like this one:

  2. There is not a mechanical keyboard Rod. It's a membrane switch keyboard. That Black Widow is an excellent Cherry MX Brown Switch. Get it. It's a great keyboard!

I obviously know that. I recommend a keyboard like he asked. He never mentioned it had to be mechanical.
  4. He clearly stated he likes mechanical keyboard, which also obviously means he would like to see some suggestions on some, or if his keyboard is good or not. You didn't help the OP at all.

No worries Azeem; looks like aRodr1guez is enthusiastic about his recommendation. It is a very good recommendation since it's under $60 and at Newegg it's 5/5 stars with 400+ reviews. I don't really have an excuse to spend $100+ just so that the keyboard feels better. I have a habit of wanting the best. I'm looking into the The Deck Legend Keyboard now. It's unbelievably $179!!? http://www.deckkeyboards.com/product_info.php?products_id=96
  6. I recommend Cherry MX Brown switches for gaming as the feel is just right. Cherry Blues are a bit too hard to press IMO.
  7. i heard thermaltake makes some really good keyboards.
