Can i put two hard disks together in one pc

Hii guys i am planning to buy a new harddisk and the sales man in the shop told me that i can put my old 160 gb HDD and the new 500 gb harddisk together i want to know that if putting this together will make the computer laggy ?? and i also need to know that is Foxconn H61 gud ?? am planning to install i3 processor and also 1 gb graphics card of asus please i need help fast............. :(

he means 2 seperate physical disk drives....
C,D,E etc are simply logical partitions of the same drive......i think what he means is when u put the disks together, pls ensure that one logical partition doesn't span both the physical drives....if that is even possble in the 1st place:)

i'll try :D
While installing windows on the New 500GB, u can make 2 250GB partions on that if u want.....but leave the old HDD as it is:)
Don't try to combine the 150+500 into a single 660GiB logical drive :)

If u still don't get it, don't bother :)

4 logical drives on the 500Gb is also okay...no problems.
If ur doing a clean install, the old HDD shud show itself automatically in My computer.....in case its not, u gotta right click My computer->Manage->then do somethin under the Storage option......don't remember what exactly noe thoe :)
