Hello,

I recently purchased an ASUS CM 1740, I'm looking to upgrade the video card that came with it which is an AMD Radeon HD 6000. Which cards would you suggest that could run Skyrim either on Ultra or very close to it. OR should I just not worry about it and play the game on the setup I currently have.

Not a bad system, but the problem is your PSU is only 300W. You could add a 6670 without upgrading your PSU and run your system in Dual Graphics mode, but it's rather problematic and it may not run will with Skyrim. What's your budget?

I'd like to keep it under 200 if possible. If not I'm not that concerned as I can run the game now as is and it looks decent just not amazing obviously. I'm a long time xbox 360 man and now I'm coming back to pc gaming for the first time in years.

Ah, well for that budget I'd say get a decent PSU and a 6850

The video card will enable you to get high detail, but ultra is a bit out of reach especially with your lower clocked CPU. You may want to consider overclocking.
