I have about $100 wiggle room, I can either go for a better CPU or a better GPU.

Here's the pc part picker link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/5BhV

So I could either replace the I5 2500k with an I7 2600k or I could step up my graphics card with a 570 instead of a 560.

I will be playing mostly games like Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Minecraft, ect.

I'll be building this in maybe a month or so.

Any other suggestions to change around other parts of the system would also be appreciated as this is my first build. Pretty sure all the parts are solid. I may step up my SSD to a 128gb.

Thanks.

Get the 570 over the i7 anyday. The i7 doesnt do you any better for gaming since games only use 4 cores. The i7 is only good for running cpu intensive apps like 3d programming and things like that. For gaming its more about your GPU for you get more fps. The 850w will be enough to handle 2 570's in SLI too.

I have the same SSD as the one who have in the list. With a 64GB you can fit your os and still have about 30 gb left for room. If you got the money i would grab a 128gb, im happy with my 64 but i should have spent the money and grabbed a bigger one.
