Best gpu for i5 500k?

Solution

the gtx 480 has similar performance with a gtx 570 with about 70 dollar price difference. its downside is that it heat curve and power consumption curve is high when you start to overclock it.

If you're looking for the best raw performance at that cost take a look at the GTX 480 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130759. Otherwise if you're looking for some cooler and that consumes less power the HD 7850 is a good choice.

You have the 7850...Do you like it? i mean if it is a 480 equal than they should perform similar in games so, how does it do?

cant bench it yet. monitor resolution is holding me back at the moment till i save up enough for a 1920x1080 monitor.
