Just noticed on the Crucial site that supposedly A7Vs can't query the SPD for CL2 memory correctly. My computer has been running for months configuring my CL2 memory by SPD.

1) Does this mean I haven't been getting a CAS 2 latency?

2) If I were to manualy configure my memory how would I go about finding the settings I need to use for RAS precharge time and RAS to CAS delay?

Thanks fer yer help.

1) Boot into your BIOS and see what it is detecting the memory as. If the three settings are something other than 2, 2, & 2, it is not detecting as CAS2.

2) It's pretty easy. RAS precharge, RAS to CAS delay, and the third setting (forget what it is) are all defined as 2 for CAS2 memory and 3 for CAS3 memroy. So, manually configure your memory to 2, 2, & 2.
