[nVidia + Monitor] Display Issue

For some time now I've had this issue. I have a Gateway monitor and the Touch Screen Panel on the monitor is broken; therefore my display of Windows, Programs etc are not right. What I am experiencing is visual cut offs in display due to the positioning not synching to fit my screen...normally this would be fixed by the monitor to re-adjust and fit the screen size.

I have a nVidia GeForce 550 ti and in the nVidia Control Panel there is no an option to fix this. Although, my old ATI 6770 did have it in their and fix this issue.

Question: Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there a software that can set this right since my ATI's card had it?

If a screen shot is needed to help visualize my explanation please let me know.

This can be closed, I fixed this by doing the following


nVidia Control Panel shows my Refresh Rate at 75mhz. My Generic PnP Monitor Display for my GPU was at 59 mhz. (You get to this by going to right click dsktop > screen resolution > advanced settings > monitor tab)

When these matched my issue was fixed.

Hope this helps anyone searching and having this problem.
