Hi all,

Can anyone please point me to online comparisons among these two?

(I have succ upgraded my D70 to latest firmware 3.0)

I have a Nikon D70 kit and already bought and have extensively tried the
Nikon 70-300mm ED one, I get most of the time very short "focus depth"
i.e. the main target is in good focus everything around even very close is
really out of focus, even when outdoors with lots of light and using ISO 200
setting. Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?

For indoors I really need an external flash ... otherwise the picture will
get grained with 100% certainty.

I am seriously thinking of selling my Nikon 70-300mm ED lens.

Thanks in advance,
Best Regards,
Giovanni
