Intel i5-2380P for $129?

Hey guys, this is my first post, so welcome me :D
Anyways, I was searching around for some deals on an i5 CPU, and I saw this:

I've never dealt with CPU Medics, but DAMN, that's a good deal! I would have bought it by now if I knew whether or not they were a reputable source, but as I said, I've never bought from them. Has anyone had any good experience with them? And should I go ahead and buy that processor?

Thanks guys! I can't wait for your responses.

  1. I'd be very weary about ordering from them, far as I can tell they are not a well established company, and the few reviews they do have don't seem to be very good. Aside from that Intel is known to not subsidize or lower the cost of their CPUs, so for them to be offering that CPU at such a lower price than any other merchant makes me wonder.

Clearly not a well established company,

Of course everyone knows MicroCenter has really cheap deals on In-store only Intel CPUs, but they have a pretty poor customer service reputation too lol.

Yea, but it seems like any issues that a customer had were addressed, unless they lied in their replies...
  3. No real way to know is there? Maybe I'm doing a disservice by not giving an up and coming new business a chance, but for stuff like computer parts I prefer to err on the side of caution and stick with companies that have an established reputation.

Meh... I am very tempted to buy it. I mean, so one has complained that they had been ripped off... If anyone has any experience with CPU Medics, please tell us.
  5. I purchased this part from CPU Medics:

    Intel SR03R - 3.50Ghz 5GT/s 4MB Intel Core i7-2640M Dual Core CPU Processor

I got it like 3 days later, packed very well and worked perfectly. A wonderful experience. Hope this helps.
  6. Bought a battery.
