MSI GTX 560 TI 2 GB/OC vs 6870 Crossfire?

Specs:
Intel i5 2500k 4.0 OC
16gb Corsair 1600 MHZ RAM
2 TB WD 7200 HD's
Hyper N 502 HSF
P67 Asrock Extreme 4 Gen 3 Mobo
HD 6870

The question is should I sell my 6870 for a loss and get the Twin Frozr 2gb 560 ti? Or pay basically 50$ more and get another 6870 to xfire. Are the compatibility and microstuttering etc that bad that I should go single card?

850Watt Professional Modular Corsair PSU.

What is your PSU? Now are you going to run now or in the fucture more than one monitor and a resolution of 1920 x 1200 or better on one or each monitor? If yes then get the 560 ti 2gb of vram. But no to all that it would be a waste of money at this time.

If you are wanting to play all the big games of today then the 560 or the 6950 either one is good. Or wait for the new 7950's to come out in a day or two. This all comes down on your budget.

Get the 560ti twinfrozr ii, then overclock it to 1ghz+ it will outperform if not perform equivalently to a gtx 570.

One 560ti over 6870CF LOL ROFLMAO

560ti sli vs 6870 cf. The 560ti offers more upgrades than the 6870, and a 560ti sli will outperform a 6870 cf.

That's a no brainer....... I have dual 6870's and I don't run in too many problems. Two 6870's r faster than a gtx 580 which a Gtx 580 is way faster than a 560 ti......

amuffin you do understand that the performance between the 6870 crossfire and the 560ti sli are close and he would have to spend 500$ right now for 2 560ti cards when he could spend just 200$ for a 6870.......... And beat out a gtx 570, 580, 6950, and a 6970.

Yes, however he can add another 560ti later on and outperform the 6870 cf.

I had a question about my heat sink. It came with cables that are too short so it uses a converter, but I can't cable manage it well without it touching the heat sink, is that bad or is it OK if the plastic adapters touch the heat sink?

The 2nd picture, has the white plastic converters to the two fans on the heatsink sitting on top of the cpu. Is that bad? Is having the cables of my heatsink near the heatsink a risk?
