Sata socket 603 xeon

Hello,
im buying a workstation it has Dual (2) Intel Xeon HT Core 1.8GHz = Quad (4) x 1.8GHz cpu,s can i upgrde these with 2 xeon 2.6ghz cpu from a apple g5 unit as my fiend is upgrading from 2.6 to 2.8 and he is giving me his old ones

They can only be socket 603 xeons which are only netburst and none of the newer core2 based. If you are lucky you can upgrade to a pair of Gallatin 4MB xeons. The only way to get a matched pair is to order online and locally it is almost impossible.
